The Kodak EasyShare C195 is a fourteen megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom, Kodak’s own Share button for one touch uploading to a variety of locations (YouTube, Facebook, Flickr and, not surprisingly, Kodak’s own Kodak Gallery), a three inch LCD display, Kodak’s Smart Capture technology that includes things like intelligent scene detection to change the settings according to your needs, intelligent capture control that adapts to light levels, and intelligent image processing to clear up shadows and improve detail levels in your photos. You’ll even get face recognition systems, video capability, a multimedia slideshow capability right in the camera itself, editing systems in the camera itself, and perhaps best of all, it runs on just two AA batteries.
This is a pretty small camera, so there aren’t a whole lot of controls here to begin with; thus ease of use is pretty well top-notch. The zoom is a bit short, but that’s par for the course with a digital camera, and if the picture quality turns out anything like the LCD suggests (I didn’t actually print one of these off, you understand), well, you should be in for great photos.
